About the course
A defense customer checks its suppliers against AQAP 2110, and AQAP itself sits on top of ISO 9001. Both of those foundations are now moving at once: the new ISO 9001:2026 edition is out, and ISO 19011:2026, the standard internal audits are run under, follows right behind it. So the course is built from three blocks: NATO quality assurance requirements, the new version of the base standard, and internal auditing under the updated rules.
Five days online, 13:00 to 17:00 each day. The schedule is deliberate: mornings stay with production, afternoons go to the course, and you don't have to pull the team off the floor for a whole week.
Who it's for. Managers and quality management system specialists, internal auditors, and representatives of companies that already hold defense contracts or are planning to enter that market. If you build drones, electronic warfare equipment or components and customers are already asking for an AQAP certificate, this course covers the theory that certification preparation starts from.

Course programme
AQAP 2110:2016: NATO quality assurance requirements
- Scope: design, development and production of defense products.
- The structure of the standard and where it's stricter than ISO 9001: the quality plan, configuration management, risk management, control of subcontractors.
- Government quality assurance: how the customer's representative works on your site and what they're entitled to check. The legal framework is set by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 452.
- Certification experience of Ukrainian companies under AQAP 2110: typical nonconformities and how they get closed.
ISO 9001:2026: fundamentals of a quality management system
- The process approach, context of the organization, leadership, risk-based thinking.
- Changes and additions in the new edition compared with ISO 9001:2015.
- The transition period: what to update in the system documentation and in what order.
ISO 19011:2026: planning and running internal audits
- The audit programme, planning an individual audit, auditor competence.
- Auditing a system that has AQAP 2110 requirements built into it.
- Changes and additions in the new edition compared with ISO 19011:2018.
- How to word a nonconformity so that the corrective action fixes the cause rather than ticking a box.
How the days are laid out
Indicative schedule: 9 and 10 November cover AQAP 2110, 11 to 13 November cover ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 19011:2026. That three-day block also runs as a separate course on the new ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 19011:2026 requirements, so if you don't need the defense part, you can join for those days only.
